most frequent violations ot le

numbering law.
These violations include fail

the operator is subject to a $50

Scientists Study
Possible Space
Mission To Mars
WASHINGTON (UPI) - U.S.
scientists are studying a pos
sible space mission which
would take six men on a 16
month round-trip to the planet
Mars.
Sen. Clinton P. Anderson, D
N.M., chairman of the Senate
Space Committee, told the Wom-n-
National Democratic Club
it was too early to determ
ine the size ol uie Mars

crew, or whether it would have
built-in gravity, but that such a
mission was under study.

Certificate Necessary
The temporary, and later
the permanent, certificate of
number must be ' carried
aboard at all times.
The owner ot a Coast Guard
numbered boat who changes
his address must notify the
Coast Guard of his new ad
dress within 15 days.
If a hnat is lost, destroyed
or abandoned, the certificate of
number must be surrendered to
the Coast Guard within 15 days.
Alwavs remember that if a
boat is numbered by a state
whose system has been teacrai-
lv approved requirements may
differ in many instances and
the instructions of the stale
must be followed.
