It's the '64 Wide -Track Pontiac Tempest with a new SIX for savers and a V-8 for swingers.
When we build a new kind of Pontiac, there's no
halfway about it. This Wide-Track Tempest has
a new 115 wheelbase, new brakes, suspension,
Wide-Track and very pleasing styling. And Tem
pest's new 215 cubic inch, 140 horsepower in-line
6 will please everybody but your gas station man.
(Oh, yes and the repairman. We build our en
gines lough.) And our optional-at-extra-cost V-8
let's just say you can get it in 250 or 280 horse
power form, depending on whether you want to
run on regular or premium fuel. This 326 cubic
incher will do its own talking. But how about
