Grapes, Peppers Add Color
To Favorite Chicken Dish
Color is an important (actor
in foods, particularly if it is
bright and lends itself to appetite-appeal.
Treat your family
to an old favorite all dressed up
in red and green peppers wilh
ruby-hiied Tokay grapes for a
regal touch, while this produce
is on the fall market. Add curry
powder for an exotic touch and
you will have a main dish fit for
monarch but suggested lor
your next luncheon commitment.
Another point in favor of
"Curry Chicken a In Queen," is
that its cooking time totals 15
minutes, once (he chicken has
been cooked, and Hint could be
prepared the day before, which
is all (o the good if you plan it
for a luncbenn dish.
CllRRY CHICKEN
LA QUEEN
One and one-hSlf cup Tokav
grapes; two cups diced, cooked
chicken; two tablespoons butter
or margarine; one-half teaspoon
curry powder; one (Hl'i oz.) can

salt; dash pepper; one teaspoon
lemon juice; one-halt cup sliced
green popper; one - half cup
sliced red sweet pepper; crisp
lo;fst points.
Halve aiVJ seed Tokays. Saute
chicken in butter and curry
powder until golden. Stir in
soup, water, salt, pepper and
lemon juice. Simmer 10 minutes
to blend flavors. Add green and
red pcpu'TS and Tokays. Sim
nvr five minutes longer. Serve
on crisp toast points or in flaky
patty shells. Makes six to eight
