Milk I'ail Ranglers
As a reward for their year's
woi'k, an outing was held by
members of the Milk Pail Ran
glers 4-H dairy club of Wag
ner valley at Willow lake re
cently. Attending were Kalhy Turpin
and her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ray Turpin; Don Enloe and
family, Jean, Tom, Dave and
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Enloe; Sue,
Roger and Leslie Welburn; Lin
da Sommer and parents, Mr.
and Mrs. William Sommer, and
a guest, Mary Sue Emerson, all
of Talent. From Medford were
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cahail,
the club's leaders.
A picnic was a high spot of
the day. Many activities wont
on during the day, including
swimming, wading, playing on
the playground equipment, and
Cahail rented a row boat for
the children so -they could ex
plore the lake.
The next meeting will be
held Monday, Oct. 14 at 8 p.m.
at the home of Leslie and Roger
Welburn on Hendricks rd.

Antelope Cooking Club
A meeting of the Antelope
Cooking and Sewing 4-H club
was held at the home of Paulete
Anderson recently.
The meeting was mainly for
catching up on record books.
A demonstration on honey
cookies was given by Margie
Lehman.
Five new members joined.
They are Karen Greb, Cynthia
Fox, Cathy Fox, Carolyn Fox
. and Susan Stanley.
Our next meeting will be held
at the home of Margie Leh
man Oct. 26.

year recently at the home of

with six members and three
visitors present.
. The members answered the
, roll call by naming the awards
; won at the Jackson County 4-H
' fair and the Slate Fair.
Deborah Chavis won one blue,
one red at the county fair and
one red at Stale with a skirt.

: Connie Moore one red, Sue Anne
Slates one red. Dona Lupini one
. red, Jane Ayres one blue and
, one red.
. The club voted to give its
club property to the Sewing
' Gems club under the leadership
;of Mrs. Ray Chavis.
The meeting was adjourned

' bers could meet their new lead
er, Mrs. Ray Chavis.
Games were played and re
freshments were served. Those
receiving prizes were Deborah
Chavis, Paula Lupini, Connie
Moore, Helen Chavis, and Lin
da Chavis.

Knitten Kittens was called to
order. The flag solute and 4-H
pledge were said. Uenc Mitchel,
secretary, read the minutes and
called roll. Roll was answered
by whether or not we had our
projects finished. She also told
us how many meetings each of
us altendcd.
We have two new members.
They are Angelika Bayley and
Sally McKay.
