The heirloom handkerchief
which the bride carried had be
longed to her maternal great

David Rhyden served as best
man. Gary Wiltermood, Grants
Pass, a cousin of the bride;
David Wade, a brother of the
bridegroom; Monte Whaley and
Hubert Finch were the ushers.
Baskets of bronze, pompon
chrysanthemums decorated the
altar and an arrangement of
yellow spider chrysanthemums
was used on the guest book
table in the church foyer.
Maynard Hadlcy was soloist.

Some 200 gunsts attended the
ceremony and reception given
by the bride's parents in the

and reception Mrs. Wiltermood

bridegroom's mother chose a
sculptured avocado green knit
dress with gold threads and her

sages, Mrs. Wiltermood's in
pale green and Mrs. Babb s
pastel pink.
Mrs. Brian Watson, Central
Point, had charge of the guest
book. Mrs. Noel Dunlap and
Mrs. Philip Cross, both Medford,
and Miss Karen Wiltermood,
Grants Pass, a cousin of the
bride, received the gifts.
Cutting and serving the wed
ding cake were the bride's
aunts, Mrs. Loyd Wiltermood,
Mrs. Walter Wiltermood, and
Miss Cindy Wiltermood, a cous
in of the bride, all Grants Pass.

ceremony of Miss Patricia
Louise Russell and Jared Lee
Black. The bride Is a daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Citron,
DeLake, Ore., and the bride
groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. John M. Black, 216 South
Orange street, Medford, who
went north for the wedding.
The ceremony was read bep-
tcmber 14, at 8 o clock in the
evening by the Rev. T. Askew
Crumbley in McMinnville First
Methodist church. About 150
guests witnessed the rites.

Grande, was matron of honor
and the Misses Jen becgniy,
Grants Pass and Jane O'Dell,
Astoria, were bridesmaids. Mrs.
Charles Colling, Tigard, a cou
sin of the bride was brides-
matron.
Urother Escorts Bride
The bride was escorted to the
altar by her brother, Richard
Russell, and was given in mar
riage by both her brother and
her stepfather, Mr. Citron. Her
gown, made by an aunt, Mrs.
Frank Miller, Newberg, was of
peau de soie with fitted bodice
ana long sleeves. The skirt was
gathered at the back to form
a chapel train and her tulle fin
gertip veil was held by a lace
crown, accented at thc front
with a flat bow. The bridal
bouquet was of white rosebuds
with a white orchid.
The attendants wore gowns of
textured gold satin with bell
shaped skirts and their head
pieces held gold popcorn veils.
Their nosegays were of single
bronze chrysanthemums tied
with variegated ribbon.
Noel Black, Sacramento,
Calif., served as best man for
his brother and ushers were
Raymond Barnwell, Roy Doe
and Guy Parker, all Medford.
Lighting the candles were
Douglas Elliott, Medford and
Robert Russell. Portland, Theta
Chi fraternity brothers of the
bridegroom.

Mrs. John Hofrichter. organ
ist, played "Trumpet Tunc," as
the processional and "Now
Thank We All Our God," as the
recessional.
Reception Held
About 175 guests were at the
reception given by the bride's
parents in Youngson hall of the
church. Mrs. Edward Maguigan,
Portland and Mrs. Miller, New
berg, poured the codec; Mrs.
Bruce McConncll, Portland and
Mrs. Arthur Nelson, Newberg,
served the wedding cake. All
are aunts of the bride. Another
aunt, Mrs. Wesley Gccr, Tigard,
and Mrs. Harold Norbcrg, Bel
lingham, Wash., poured the
punch. Mrs. Robert O'Dell,
Portland, registered the guests.
Among the guests were Mrs.
Perry Miller, Dundee, Ore., the
bride's maternal grandmother,
and Mrs. Anne Brown, Beaver
ton, Ore., her paternal grand
mother. The bride's mother was attired
in a beige suit with white ac
cessories and the bridegroom's
mother wore a beige brocaded
sheath dress with gold acces
sories. Both had rosebud cor
sages. Mrs. Citron's in pink
and Mrs. Black's, white.
The bride is a graduate of
McMinnville High school and
the University of Oregon dental
school. She has been employed
as a dental hygienist in a Cor
vallis dental office.

Medford, have announced the
engagement of their daughter,
Marcia Ann, to Ronald W. Sni
dow of Aurora, Colo.
Miss Williams, a senior at the
University of Oregon, told her
Delta Gamma sorority sisters
of her engagement at a dinner
on her 21st birthday anniver
sary, September 24. She is a
graduate of Medford High
school and is a major in English
at the university.
Mr. Snidow, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph W. Snidow of
Aurora, was a 1963 graduate of
the University of Oregon where
he was affiliated with Beta
Theta Pi fraternity. He attended
high school in San Rafael,
Calif., where he was chosen for
the all-state football team. He
majored in physical education
at the university and was co
captain of last year's football
team, receiving the Hoffman
award for the team's most valu
able player. He is now playing
professional football for the
Washington Redskins.
The couple plans to be mar
ried in June, 1964.
The bride - elect's father is
president of Medford Chamber
of Commerce.
