Conference Set
The annual circuit conference
of the Southern Oregon Circuit
of The Lutheran Church Mis
souri Synod is scheduled for
Friday, Sept. 27, at St. Peter's
Lutheran church, 1020 East
Main St., Medford.
The conference will involve
all ministers of the circuit,
reaching from Sutherlin to Al-
turas, Calif., and the evening
session will particularly be held
for the church leaders and offi
cers of the churches in the
Rogue River valley area.
The session for the ministers
will begin at 2 p. m. Two visit
ing Northwest District officials,
Pastors Carl F. Nitz of Port
land, and Arthur Schelp, Cor
vallis, will be on the program.
The two, together with the Cir
cuit Counselor Pastor John E.
Simon of St. Peter's, will con
duct the 7:45 p.m. meeting. The
women of St. Peter's will serve
at a fellowship dinner for all
officers and leaders at 7 p.m.
