PTA Group To Meet
Jackson County Council ol
Parent-Teacher associations will
meet Wednesday, September 25,
at the Red Cross building, 60
Hawthorne avenue.
A school of information is
scheduled beginning with regis
tration and coffee at 9:30 a.m.;
announcements and introduc
tions from 10 to 10:15 a.m.;
mock meeting and group dis
cussion from 10:15 to 11 a.m.
and workshops for all chairmen
and presidents from 11 a.m.
until noon.
Luncheon will be served by
the Medford PTA Coordinating
committee for a nominal fee.
Dr. Betty Lou Dunlop from
Southern Oregon college will
speak at 1 p.m.
All PTA presidents and chair
men are invited to attend.

and Bradshaw s live in the Central Point area;
Mrs. Rice and her children are spending a year
in Jackson county while Captain Rice, an offi
cer in the United Stales Marine corps, is on
overseas assignment. 4

Jr., whose marrige was an event
of the summer, arc living at

Angeles. The bride is the former
Miss Sandra Jane Gardner,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry
A. Gardner, San Dimas, Calif.
The bridegroom's parents are
Mr. and Mrs. William M. Neal.

rites read in Las Vegas, Nev.
The bride wore a white linen
suit and her flowers were white
rosebuds. Her heart-shaped lock
et was a gift from the bride
groom. They spent their honeymoon
in the Nevada city and were
guests at the Flamingo hotel.
The bride was graduated
from Charter Oaks High school
in 1961 and she attended San
Antonia college, later graduat
ing from Center Beauty school.
The bridegroom, a 1953 grad
uate of Medford High school
attended Southern Oregon col
lege, and he is a gracluute of
Electronic Technical institute
in Inglewood, Calif. He is em
ployed as an inspector of gyro
scopes (or Spcrry Gyroscope
company, El Segundo, Calif.

Recent guests at the home of
Mrs. Ora Davis, 320 Chestnut
street, were Mrs. Davis' brother,
Jack Stapleton, Mrs. Stapleton
and their daughter, Nancy,
Santa Clara, Calif. Also visiting
Mrs. Davis recently was a sister-in-law,
Mrs. June Stapleton,
Oklahoma City.

The bride is the former Miss
Lenore Jacobs, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Don L. Jacobs, Route

church annex. Mrs. Michael
Kroh, also a sister of the bride
from Westminster, Calif., and
Miss Sue Redman, Eagle Point,
a niece of the bridegroom, serv
ed the wedding cake.
Miss Paula Bridger, Fontana,

chanic in the Air Force prior to
being employed at Kaiser Steel
corporation.
For traveling the bride wore

back. The gown's neckline was
outlined wilh Swiss embroidery
trimmed with sequins and
pearls. Her veil of scalloped net
was held by a white satin bow.
She carried a garland of white
carnations centered with pink
roses, and her diamond and
pearl pendant was a gift from
the bridegroom.
Sister Is Attendant
Miss Lois Jacobs, a sister of
tlic bride, was her only at
tendant. She wore a yellow or
ganza dress with matching
headband and float veil. Her
nosegay bouquet was of white
and yellow carnations.
Don Kellerman, Eagle Moun
tain, Calif., was best man.
Miss Ethel Jacobs, another
sister of the bride, was soloist
and Mrs. Donna Faddis, Arling
ton. Calif., was organist.
Mrs. Jacobs wore a light blue
nylon lace dress with jacket
and her corsage was of white
carnations.

College Student
To University
Among the students who
have returned to colleges this
fall is Mrs. James Magstadt,
the former Linda Slessler, a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. S.
Slessler, 846 West 13th street,
Medford.
Mrs. Magstadt will be a sen
ior at the University of Wash
intgon in Seattle, having trans
ferred from Washington State
university at Pullman. Mrs.
Magstadt is an English litera
ture major. Her husband, who
was graduated from the Pull
man universiy in June, is with
the city planning staff In Ren
ton, Wash.
The couple is making their
home at 1818 Harvand avenue,
Apartment 102 in Seattle.
