Mrs. Octlnger was born
June 1. 1899, in Marion. Ind.,
and had lived in southern Ore
gon since 1941. She was mar
ried Oct. 29, 1916. in Liberal,
Kans., to Samuel H. Oetingcr,
who died in 1959.
Survivors include a son,
Samuel H. Octinger Jr., Med
ford; a daughter, Mrs. Clyde
Bripgs, Centra! Point; three
brothers, Howard W. Brock,
Lebanon, Ore.; Charles O.
Brock, Linden, Calif.; Ira E.
Brock, Central Point, Ore.;
two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Hoov
er, Beaver, Okla.; and Mrs.
Myrtle Braden, Ft. Scott,
Kans.; nine grandchildren
and eight great grandchildren.
Casket bearers will include

Nebr., to Harriet Warner, who
survives.
Other survivors include a
son, Rush Dickson, Monitor,
Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Bar
bara Moser. Gold Hill, Ore.;
and Mrs. Claudia Rcasoncr,
Glendale, Ore.; a brother.
Earl Dickson, Denver, Colo.;
two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Warn
er, Twin Falls, Ida.; and Mrs.
Leilah Talbert, Holdridge,
Nebr.; 12 grandchildren and
eight grandchildren.
Casket bearers will include
Paul Mollcy, Harry Foley,
Howard Kell, Hilton Brignall,
Frank Richardson, and Her
bert Reed.
