Furniture Care Hints Given for Various Surfaces

you need both cleaner and
wax for most furniture fin-

- If your furniture is finished
with a high gloss and luster,
your dusting should be done
- with a spray wax that cleans
as well as polishes. And high
gloss furniture should be per-
' iodically cleaned with a liquid
' wax cleaner.
With oil - rubbed or scaled
, finishes, such as is given most
of the new modern furniture,
in either light or dark woods,
this manufacturer makes a
liquid cream polish. It thor
oughly cleans and enriches
; the wood grain without mak
ing the finish shiny - it leaves
that beautiful soft hand
rubbed glow enriched and

' finish is on the slightly shiny
side, the spray wax is best for
your regular dusting and the
liquid wax should be used for

store a worn finish, this manu

of a paste wax, applied three
or four times yearly. Paste
wax will highlight the color
and grain of the wood, as well
as clean and protect it.

equipment such as stoves, re
frigerators and freezer, the
use of a liquid, concentrated
wax cleaner is advised. There
is no danger of scratching or
dulling these gleaming sur
faces with such a cleanser and
when used as directed on the
bottle, it leaves nothing be
hind but a hard, dirt-resisting
waxen shine.
