Agraham Lincoln lost one
son while he was in office in
1862. Eleven - year - old Wil
liam Wallace (Tad) Lincoln
died Feb. 20 of that year at
the White House.
Thomas Jefferson's 28-yrar-old
daughter, Mary, died
April 17, 1804, toward the
end of his presidential term.
John Adams, the nation's

20-year-old Charles Adams
died Nov. 30, 1800.
