Kimball-Wilson Wedding
Held at First Christian
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gil-1
bert Kimball Jr., who were
wed recently in Medford First
Christian church have re
turned from their wedding
trip to the Oregon coast and
are living at 108'j North
Columbus street.
The bride is the former
Donna Marie Wilson, daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Eoberts, 1078 Morrow road.
The bridegroom's parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Kim
ball, 1645 Scenic avenue, Cen
tral Point.
The two o'clock afternoon
ceremony on June 16 was per
formed by the Rev. Wendell
Wagler.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor
length gown of Japanese satin
brocade designed with chapel
train. A Chantilly lace cap
trimmed with teardrop pearls
held her elbow length veil.
She carried a bouquet of
white carnations.
' Miss Lou Johnson was the
honor attendant and Miss Pam
Wyatt was bridesmaid. Their
sheath frocks were pink taf
feta, and they carried carna
tion bouquets, Miss Johnson's
being pink and Miss Wyatt's
pink with white. Miss Arley
Fairbanks was flower girl..
Miss JoAnn Roberts, sister
of the bride, and Miss Linda
Downing, Prospect, a cousin,
were candlelighters. Their
: dresses were of aquamarine
r blue nylon.
David Kimball, Central
Point, was best man. and
ushers were Johney Harris,
Grants Pass and Robert Edwards.
Roses and carnations deco
rated the church.
About 60 guests attended
the ceremony and reception
given by the bride's parents.
Mrs. Weldon Downing, Pros
pect, aunt of the bride, served
the wedding cake and Mrs.
Clyde Kindred poured coffee.
Mrs. Kenneth Janzen was at
the punch bowl and the gift
table was attended by Missijan
Johnson. Mrs. Norman Holli
day, Klamath Falls, a cousin
of the bride, had charge of the
guest book.
Among the guests at the
ceremony and reception was
Mrs. Helen Mayham, grand
mother of the bride.
The bride's mother chose a
blue sheath dress with match
ing jacket and the bride
groom's mother wore a tur
quoise blue dress with jacket.
Both had white carnation cor
sages.
The bride attended Medford
High school and the bride'
groom was a student at Crater
High school. He is employed
by Medford Tire service.

Lyle Harrells To Be Honored at Reception
Ashland-Mr. and Mrs. Lyle
Harrell will be guests Mon
day, July IS, at a reception
given in their honor at Frames,
Etc.. 1SS1 Highway 66, by Mr.
and Mrs. Raymond E. Vander-
valle.
An exhibit of Mr. Harrell's
paintings and drawings will
be on display from 8 to 11 p.m.
and beginning Monday and
each day thereafter, except
Sunday, from 11 to 4 p.m. The
showing is to continue through
August 10 and Saturday, the
artist will be in the gallery
from 2 to 4 p.m. -
Last year Mr. and Mrs.
Harrell moved from the San
Fernando valley of southern
California t o Jacksonville
where he opened a studio
across from the museum.
There he teaches both head
drawing and oil painting.
Mr. Harrell, who is, a
native of Illinois, began draw
ing when he was a child In

Marie Rasmussen and Robert
Dean Croucher were mar
ried by the Rev. Robert E.
Cull on June 30.
The 3 o'clock ceremony
was attended by more than
150 guests at the First As
sembly of God church, Med
ford. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L.
Rasmussen, 400 North Fifth
street; , and Mr. and Mrs.
Lorin D. Croucher, Griffin
Creek road, Medford, are the
parents of the bridegroom.
The bride, given in mar
riage by her father, wore a
floor length gown fashioned
with a full organza skirt bor
dered with Chantilly lace and
a fitted Chantilly lace bodice.
Her elbow length veil was
held by a lace crown and she
carried a white orchid on a
white Bible.
Miss Vicki L. Honeycutt,
Bakersfield, Calif., was maid
of honor, and matron of
honor was Mrs. Dennis Hag
ler, Medford, cousin of the
bride. Bridesmaids were Miss
Alice K. Peterson, Miss
Cheryl Johnson, Medford,
Miss Karen Johnson, Med
ford. and Miss Mel ba
Graham. They wore floor
length .dresses in lavender
shades and carried bouquets
of white and lavender gla-dioli.
Cynthia Kezer, cousin of
the bride, was flower girl,
and Joseph D. Haglcr, Tal
ent, nephew of the bride,
was ring bearer.
Ronald Croucher, Medford,
brother of the bridegroom,
served as best man and seat
ing the guests were Kenneth
Sacchi, Dennis Hagler, cou
sin of the bridegroom, Dave
Rasmussen, brother of the
bride, Charles Cook and
James Hatton, all Medford.
Miss Gloria Rasmussen,
niece of the bride, played the
wedding organ music. Mrs
Loyd Rasmussen, sister of
the bridegroom, was soloist
The church was decorated
with baskets of white and
lavender gladioli.
For. the wedding the bride's
mother wore a pink cotton
dress with while accessories,
and the bridegroom's mother
chose a blue silk dress with
white accessories.
At the reception held in
the church Mrs. Chris Hagler
and Mrs. Paul Beck, sisters
of the bride, and Mrs. Loyd
Rasmussen were in charge of
refreshments. Mrs. Dave Has-
mussen, sister of the bride
groom, was in charge of the
guest book.
. The bride wore a pink' and
white eyelet dress with pink
accessories for their wedding
trip to Grants Pass. The
couple will make their home
at 836 Taylor street, impart
mcnt 16, Medford.
The bride attended Med
forJ High school and Mr,
Croucher attended Medford
High school and Southern
Oregon college. He is em
ployed at Timber Products.

ed Mrs. Paul T. Beck and
sons, David, Daniel, and Ken

nephews of the bride.

Will Visit
Nursing Home
The Woman's Missionary
society of the First Southern
Baptist church will visit the
McCue nursing home in Cen
tral Point, at 1:30 p.m., Wed
nesday, July 17.
All members are to meet
at the church.

United States, Mr. Harrell
was chosen from 1,144 en
trants as one of 60 west coast
artists selected for the sb '
held in the Los Angeles coun
ty museum.
Other exhibitions include
the Cunningham gallery,
Downey, Calif., and the Los
Angeles Festival of Arts,
where his painting was voted
the favorite of the show.
Since coming to Oregon he
has shown in the Rogue Val
ley Art Association gallery
and at the Public Library of
Medford- and Jackson county,
both in Medford.
Mr. Harrell has been an
art and brochure designer for
Atomics International, for
whom he has also designed
Christmas cards. His work
for Atomics International was
prepared for presentation to
Congress, at summit meetings,
and at colleges and universi
ties. He has been a membrr
of, and shown in, the Artists
Equity gallery, Los Angeles..
Included in the showing at
Frames, Etc., will be several
pieces of terra cotta and wood
sculpture by Mm. Harrell. ;
Registration is now open
for classes which Mr. Harrell
will teach In basic and ad
vanced drawing,' and also in
perspective drawing.
