Sealed bids for the construction
of an addition to Phoenix High
School located at Rose St., Phoenix,
Oregon, for School District No. 4,
Jackson County, Oregon, will be
received at the Superintendent's
office in the Phoenix High School
Building, Phoenix, Oregon, until
8:00 p. m.. Oregon Davlight Time,
July 16, 1963, and will then be
publicly opened and read aloud.
The plans, specifications and
other contract documents may be
examined and copies thereof may
be obtained at the office of Payne
and Struble, A.I.A., Architects,
1005 East Main St., Medford, Ore
gon. A deposit of $25.00 per set of
drawings and specifications will be
required. Any bidder returning his
set within a week of the bid open
ing will be refunded his deposit
and any non-bidder returning his
set five days prior to the bid open
ing will be refunded his deposit.
Additional sets may be obtained
at direct cost of reproduction, such
sets to remain the property of the
architect and be returned follow
ing the bid opening.
This project involves the con
struction of a block masonry shop
building of approximately 9,600 sq.
ft. and remodeling of approximate
ly 4.000 sq. ft. of the existing high
school building.
All classifications will be covered
under the General Contract Pro
posal. Attention Is called to the bid
ders' prequatification require
ment! of Sections 279.010 to 279.
