SHOPPING CENTER
The Cascade Shopping Center is a unique undertaking in shopping center de
velopment. The entire center has been constructed to remain compatible
with native Oregon surroundings. H is designed for comfort, and certainly
for ease of shopping. Realizing that the shopping center would receive a great
deal of automotive traffic, the architect planned the entire development with
the car and the pedestrian foremost in mind. With eight acres of parking,
all stores can be reached with a MAXIMUM one half-block walk. It is also
possible to shop in all Cascade Village Shopping Center stores under roof.
The unusual use of arcades has made this possible.

SHOPPING
Shopping at the Cascade Shopping Center can be accomplished in
comfort. In addition to very short walks to all stores all under roof
there are two pools located in the arcades, complete with chairs. These
rest areas will be close to the snack bar located in the market. This
snack bar will have an outside window for "take-out" orders, in addi
tion to seating capacity inside the market.
