Youth
at
Work
Each summer hundreds of young men and women,
finished with school for the year and anxious to be self
sufficient, seek some kind of employment.
Business firms and individual home owners can be
helpful in putting our "youth power" to work, but th
problem lies in getting employer and employee together.
Again this year the Mail Tribune is offering free classified
advertisements to youngsters seeking work or selling
Items for which they have no further use.
A new organization, Youth Incorporated, located at
7 North Bartlett St., also is helping students find em
ployment. The value of putting young people Into gainful
employment is obvious, both economically and from the
standpoint of building character and responsibility.
