versities. He was told to start
thinking of colleges when he
becomes a sophomore in high
school, so he sent for pre
liminary information; but
those catalogs all look alike.

of earnestness, or of killing

a-buck mill or, as Mrs. s.
hopes, an Institution dedi
cated to turning out enriched
personalities? Along with ag
ricultural courses, for ex
ample, a college may offer a
year abroad, or compulsory
music appreciation.
