Rites Held at Friends Church

mony held Saturday, May 25
at Medford Friends church.
The Rev. Andrew W. Rahn,
Central Point, officiated at
the double ring rites attended
by 150 relatives and friends.
The candlelight ceremony was
held at 8 o'clock in the eve
ning. Baskets of pale yellow and
lavender stock decorated the
altar and white satin bows
marked the pew ends. Michael
Eoark was soloist, accom
panied by Miss Georgia
powers.
Given in marriage by her
father, the bride wore a floor
length gown of satin brocade
fashioned with a full skirt
which formed a train. The
fitted bodice was sprinkled
with pearls and the scooped
neckline and long sleeves
were edged with pearls. A
small pearl crown held her
silk illusion veil which was
elbow length and she carried
a bouquet of white carnations
and yellow rosebuds. She also
carried a Bible, a gift on her
16th birthday, and a lace
handkerchief, a gift from a
former classmate, Miss Peggy
Brownlee, San Francisco.
Three Attend Bride
Miss Lynne Kinney was
maid of honor and the other
attendants were Miss Glenda
Worthington, sister of the
bridegroom and Mrs. Louis
Stanton, Chico, Calif., a cousin
of the bride. They wore satin
frocks fashioned with bell
skirts and jackets with match
ing shoes and veils. Miss Kin
ney was in yellow and the
other attendants wore frocks
of pale orchid.
Their bouquets were of car
nations, the honor attendant'3
in yellow and white, and the
others in yellow. The bou
quets were colonial nosegays
with accents of ivy.

Miss Maurie Kinney. They
wore lavender taffeta frocks
with small pearl crowns hold
ing short veils. Their flowers
were white carnations. Flower
girl was Miss Glynna Gayle
Fish, Roseburg, cousin of the
bride. She wore a yellow taf
feta frock and carried a minia
ture bouquet similar to the
bride's. Danny Earl Fish,
another cousin, served as ring
bearer.
Steven Hudson, Grants
Pass, served as best man.
Seating the guests were Jack
D. Downs, Anderson, Calif.,
cousin of the bride, and Ivan
Higinbotham.
For her daughter's wedding
Mrs. Hamilton chose a bone
white suit with peacock blue
accessories. Mrs. Worthington
wore an egg shell suit with
pale pink accessories. Their
corsages were pink rosebuds.
Reception Held
A reception followed the
wedding in the reception hall
at the church. Mrs. Pat Gu-
gino, aunt of the bride, cut
and served the wedding cake
and Mrs. Dwight Worthington
poured punch. Pouring coffee
was Miss Brownlee. Miss
Cheryl Potucek was in charge
of the guest book and passed
the bags of rice. Mrs. Adrian
Stansficld and Mrs. Ray
Goodson were at the gift
table.
For traveling thp bride
wore a yellow wool suit with
white accessories. The newly
weds are making their home
at 43 Oak street, Central
Point. The bride attended Cra
ter High school and Southern
Oregon college. The bride
groom also attended Crater
High school and is employed
by White City Plywood com
pany. Among the out of town
guests were Mr. and Mrs. W.
W. Fish, Roseburg, maternal
grandparents of the bride; Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Downs. Ander
son. Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Mar
shall Hamilton, Dorris, Calif.,
and Gaylon Fish, Eugene,
uncles and aunts of the bride;
and Mr. Stanton, Chico, Calif.,
cousin of the bride.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Floyd
Rohrbach are making their
home in Redmond, Ore., fol
lowing their return from a
wedding trip to Lake Tahoe.
The bride is the former
Naida Jean Smith, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne D.
Smith, formerly of Medford,
now of Klamath Falls. She ;
a graduate of Medford High
school, Robertson School of
Business, and Linficld col
lege, McMinnville and was
employed in Portland prior to
her marriage.
Her maternal grandparents
are Mr. and Mrs. Harry M.
Barnes, Central Point.
Mr. Rohrbach is a son of
Mr. and Mrs. R. F, Rohrbach,
Bend. He is a graduate of Ba
ker High school. Central Ore
gon college at Bend, and the
University of Oregon where
he was affiliated with Theta
Chi fraternity. He is cm
ployed by Crater Lake Ma
chinery company.
The wedding was held
April 20 in Kern Park Chris
tion church, Portland, with
the Rev. Kenneth Johnston
officiating.
The bride wore a floor
length gown of embroidered
white nylon organza and car
ried a cascade bouquet of ste
phanotis and yellow roses en
circling a white orchid. Her
veil was held by a headdress
of pearl flowers. Her hand
kerchief of lace from Brus
sels, Belgium, had belonged
to her great grandmother.
Mrs. Bernard Heuker, Port
land was matron of honor.
Other attendants were Miss
Barbara Barnes, Roseburg,
and Mrs. Donnie Dunlap, sis
ter of the bridegroom. Their
frocks were yellow embroi
dered organza and they car
ried nosegays of yellow and
white carnations.
Mr. Dunlap served as best
man and Anthony Lum and
Nicholas Wiltz Jr., both Port
land, seated the guests.
A reception, attended by
200 relatives and friends, fol
lowed in the church fellow
ship hall.
For her daughter's wedding
Mrs. Smith wore a sheath
frock of light green lace with
matching accessories. Mrs.
Rohrbach chose a pink linen
sheath dress with white acces
sories. Their corsages were
orchids.

Miss Cordelia Arnold, Sa
lem, former Medford resident,
was honored at a bridal
shower given recently by
Mrs. Wilson Wait and Mrs.
W. H. Sutter in the latter's
home at 119 Newtown street.
Miss Arnold, the bride-elect
of Floyd Mortiz, superinten
dent of schools in Coulee City,
Wash., formerly was employ
ed in the accounting offices at
Harry and David's Bear Creek
orchards. Now a teacher, shu
has been instructing at the
Oregon College of Education
at Monmouth.
The wedding date has been
set for July 12 in Salem.

May 24-26 art exhibit and sale
conducted at the SOC Brill
Art gallery was well attended
and the art scholarship fund
was increased by 35 per cent

Miss Jones is a 1963 gradu
ate of the Rogue River High
school. Mr. Cornett attended
schools in Grayland, Wash.
He recently completed five
years of service with the U.S.
Navy, and is now employed
by the Brookings Plywood
plant. .

Couple on Trip To East Coast
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H.
Webster, 810 South Oakdale
avenue, are expected to return
home late this month after
traveling since April 1 from
the California coast to the
eastern seaboard.
In Sacramento, San Fran
cisco and Long Beach, Calif.,
they were guests of friends
and relatives. From there they
left for Florida, stopping at
points of interest enroute.
In Pennsylvania they were
with relatives of Mr. Webster
staying there for about three
weeks before continuing to
New York City.
