Butte Falls Tackles
Wasco Team Friday
Butte Falls - Butte Falls
high baseballers play their
first night game of the season
Friday when they take on
Wasco County of Maupin in
the state B school quarter
finals. The game will be at 8 p.m.
at Maupin.
The Loggers will enter the
tangle with a 10-4 record and
hope to use base running to
advantage. Butte Falls has
not been a heavy hitting club
this spring and Coach Connie
lUcQuerrey said that his club
will "go for the bases" to
make up for the deficiency.
Wasco reportedly has good
hitting. The Loggers hope to
hold this down with the twirl
ing of Neal Ellis.
