Sober Sides -
By Lavonne Mathison
Two players are chosen to be the
"Sober Sides." They stand back-to-back
until the game leader counts, "one, two,
three, turn." Then they face epch other.
They may make no sound, nor can they
touch the other player. They may make
funny faces and motions, however. The
one who can go the longest without
laughing is the winner, and the loser
chooses someone else to take his place.

Make a Feather Mobile
By Garna Sttke
Here's a way of using the bird feathers
you find on the ground when the different
flocks of birds fly north for the summer
and south for the winter. Make a ball of
plastilene or buy a ball of styrofoam at
the variety store. Thread a small bolt to
the end of a piece of string, then run the
needle and string through the ball and
attach the other end with a piece of tape
to the ceiling light fixture in your room
or the side of an open doorway, where it
won't hit anyone. Then as you find the
various feathers, stick them in the ball,
and you will soon have a beautiful and
colorful mobile.
