The Casterlines always have family pets, and right now four
small kittens receive much attention. Little Jason loves to load
the kittens in his own wagon and haul them about the recrea
tion room. . :
Mother of Seven
For entertaining last week, Mrs. Casterline used yel
low chrysanthemums and purple statlce for table and
sideboard arrangements. Joyce is a pupil at Hoover
school.

When asked what family chores took up the most of her time, Mrs. Casterline promptly answered "cooking
and chauffeuring." With children in nursery school, the grades, junior and senior high school, taking music
and dancing lessons and playing in bands, going to church, to Scout and other meetings, the big station
wagon is in constant use. It is not unusual for this busy woman to prepare food for three or four functions
outside the home In one week In addition to the family meals.

Five-year-old Janet Casterline also loves to cuddle the new
kittens. Janet attends nursery school at Westminster Pres
byterian church.
The Casterline boys help their mother with the garden work while
the girls are a lot of help In the kitchen, last week Joyce and Julia
helped prepare strawberry dessert to be served when the family
posed for Photographer Robert Vroman.
