Rogue Snowmen of Medford and their families were invited to ski at Mt. Shasta bowl last Sunday and about
90 were in the group which accepted and spent the day on the slopes of the majestic California mountain.
Skiing was excellent and a warm sun made the day doubly enjoyable. Wally Iverson (at left) and Bruce Friend,
Weed, Calif., are shown in the lift just as they started for the top of the run.

Delbert Johnson, Ashland. Frustrated by a snowless winter, tkl fans are now joyful ever the heavy April fall
and the Shasta bowl management has announced that the deep pack will probably provide skiing through
out May. The scene at left is a typical one during the snow season.

Skiing is fun for the whole family and last Sunday Mrs. Jack Hanel of
Medford was helping small aany nanei mem nU- .u .. .
and poles. The tow and lifts in the bowl will operate today and w,ll con
tinue to operate each week end until lack of snow will close the season.

A broken leg didn't keep Scotty Danielson from making the trip to Shasta bowl with his parents and
he is pictured here talking with Chris Dawkins, son of thd William Dawkins, Ashland. Of course, Scot
ty broke his leg while skiing, the accident having occurred during a ski excursion to Bachelor Butto
near Bend, Ore.
