Two Injured in
Sunday Accident
Two people were inured in
a Sunday night two-car colli
sion at Ehrman rd. and Jo
seph St., state police reported.
Byron Raymond Griffith,
45. Central Point, and Mrs.
George Flanagan, of Ehrman
rd., Medford, were both treat
ed at the Rogue Valley hos
pital for numerous cuts.
Saturday, a car driven by
Charles Myron Reynolds, 70,
Veterans Administration dom
iciliary, White City, was
struck in the rear at the in
tersection of Armory dr. and
South Pacific highway by a
car driven by Darrell E. Plan-
kennorn. 17, of 920 Wilson
rd., Ashland, police said.
The Reynolds car was just
entering the highway at the
time, state police said.
Louis Irving Ford, also
White City, a passenger in
the Reynolds car, and Earnest
William Lively, Ashland, a
passenger in the Plankenhorn
car, were treated for minor
injuries
Carroll Joseph O'Neil.
Grants Pass, apparently es
caped injury Sunday when a
tire blew out on his car. The
car turned over three times,
officers said. The accident oc
curred on Interstate 5 near
Table Rock rd.
Dairy Princess
Contest Now Open
The 1963 dairy princess
contest in Jackson and Jose
phine counties opened this
week. It is sponsored by Co
ordinated Milk Sales. ,
Unmarried women between
the ages of 16 and 25 who are
high school seniors or college
students and reside on a dairy
farm or have lived on a dairy
farm sometime in their life
are eligible for the contest.
