Hank Aguirre and Harmon
Killebrew have absolutely
nothing in common when it
comes to playing baseball.
Aguirre, who topped all
major league pitchers with a
2.21 earned-run average last
season, admits he's a lousy
hitter. Killebrew never has
tried his hand at pitching but
he led the American league
with 48 homers in 1962.

for Medford and along with
Dick Deffley and Gary Miller
provided the brunt of the
nine-hit batting power.
Mike Glincs, who on Tues
day spoiled a no-hitter try for
the Tornado's Jack Forde,
again sacked the only hit for
the Comets. He led off the
fracas with his safety giving
him "back-to-back" singles in
the series.
Deffley doubled and three
