comes from Puerto Rico

people to live eight in a room.
Well, it's not O.K. in my
apartment. We only have a
kitchen, bedroom and living
room, but Waldo thinks the
place is large enough to hold
his aged parents and a broth
er and sister, for a two-month
visit. I'm supposed to give
up my bed and use a studio
couch in the kitchen. Am I
right to say no?

ents are old and it's a hard
journey for them. They're
simple people who don't ex
pect much more than a smile
and a roof over their heads.

same thing for her parents.

Anna isn't ready to donate
her home for this project,
but we bet she'll chip in
money even if it's the mon
ey she's saving up for a larg
er apartment. That will give
your folks shelter, plus plen
ty of smiles Anna's as well
as yours.
There can be occasional
overnight stays at your home,
but no major discombobula
tion. Waldo's proposal would
be feasible only in an emer
gency. Since alternate quar
ters are available, to prolong
it for two months would turn
an emergency into a disaster.
And that's no way to treat a
visit.
