Ellen Reynolds (at leit) and Tammy Hald will make be-

auxiliary to Jackson County Medical society. The event, set
for April 1 at Rogue Valley Country club, will raise iunds
for an educational project of the auxiliary. Ellen is a daugh
ter of Dr. and Mrs. John Reynolds, and Tammy's parents
are Dr. and Mrs. Christian Hald, both Ashland. Also playing
Easter bunny for the party will be Robby Cope, son of Dr.
and Mrs. Cope, also Ashland.
Easter Bunnies, Guests
To Mingle at Luncheon
Three small Easter bunnies
will mingle with guests, at the
style show to be given on
Monday, April 1 at the Rogue
Valley Country club by the
auxiliary to Jackson county
Medical society. The bunnies
will be live, but not the furry,
animal variety. They will be
children dressed in rabbit suits
and distributing candies from
gay Easter baskets. All three
are the children of Ashland
psysicians, and the models in
the fashion show are the chil
dren of Medford physicians.
Two sets of twins, a pair of
girls and a pair of boys, will
be among the models. Fash
ions shown will be for vari
ous occasions, from sports
wear to prom wear, for chil
dren from 2 through 17 years
of age.
Several grandmothers, the
wives of physicians, will wear
Easter ensembles that are ap
propriate for parading with
grandchildren on Easter Sun
day. Hats will be worn by the
women models and the chil
dren, to carry out the Easter
bonnet theme.
A hat bar will be set up in
the hallway leading to the
Starlight room.- Mann's are
supplying hats of all types
and colors, tailored and fri
volous, large and small, for
display ' on the racks. Hat
boxes and mannikins in
spring finery will decorate
the stage where the models
will promenade.
Mrs. Florian Shasky will
play the piano during the
style show, and Mrs. Ted

marriage on March 16 of
Miss Sharon Lynn Koch and
Marlyn G. Ellermcier in All
Faiths chapel, Ingleside, Neb.
The bride is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. F. Koch,
814 West Fourteenth street,
Medford.
The bridegroom's parents
are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Eller
meier of Glenvil, Neb.
The Rev. Howard Franzen
performed the double ring
ceremony at 8:30 o'clock in
the evening.
The bride, given in mar
riage by Ralph Fox, Lincojn,
Neb. wore a satin gown with
lace styled on princess lines.
The scoop neckline was jewel
trimmed, and the plain skirt
was fashioned with a chapel
train. Her bouquet was of
pink carnations centered with
a white orchid corsage.
Mrs. Donald Major, Super
ior, Neb., the bride's attend
ant, wore a streetlcngth laven
der satin dress with flared
skirt and cap sleeves. She
carried a bouquet of white
roses with pink carnations.

Mrs. Robert J. Gallagher,
the former Dorothy McGraw
of Medford, has been a guest
here for the past week, di
viding her time between the
homes of Mr. and Mrs. Justin
Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Don
ald Day. She was joined this
week end by her young son,
Shawn, with whom she will
return to Florence, Ore., to
visit her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Everett McGraw, former-
erly of Medford.

home at Ft. Sill, Okla., where
Captain Gallagher was sta

parents until he reports to his

The bride is a 1958 grad
uate of Medford High school.
She attended Walla Walla col
lege at College Place, Wash.,
and Union college in Lincoln.
She is employed as a case
worker at the Hastings State
hospital.
The bridegroom was grad
uated from high school in
Glenvil and attended Wart
burg college at Wavcrly,
Iowa. He served in the Navy
and now is assistant manager
for the Jack and Jill grocery
store in Hastings. He also is
in the apartment house rental
business.
The bride's mother, who
went east for the ceremony,
wore a bone colored sheath
dress with jacket and match
ing accessories. The bride
groom's mother was dressed
in navy blue with white ac
cessories. Both had corsages
of pink rosebuds.
The bride's father had been
unable to make the trip for
the occasion.

first place in a nation-wide
contest sponsored by Poets
Study club with a poem enti
tled "Watersong," which Mrs.
Crouch says was inspired by
Ashland creek which flows
below her home on Granite
street.
On several previous occas
ions Mrs. Crouch has won
prizes in nationally recog
nized organizations, among
them the National Federation
of Women's clubs. She is a
member of the Ashland Wo
men's Civic Club, OFWC.

De Molay district officers
were elected March 16 when
the Medford Chapter, Order
of De Molay, was host group
for a ninth district conclave.
The retiring district gover
nor, Michael Fctherstone, also
past master councilor, Med
ford chapter, presided.
Ron Kirshcr, Ashland, was
elected district governor; John
Bassford, Grants Pass, vice
governor; Don Kengla, Med
ford, scribe, and Ron Good
pasture, Kerby, chaplain.
Miss Martha Bullard, Med
ford chapter's De Molay
Sweetheart, was elected as
district Sweetheart. She will
compete in the selection of
state the De Molay Sweet
heart during the stale con
clave to be held in April in
Corvallis.
The Medford chapter has
scheduled a meeting for
Wednesday, March 27 at 7:30
p.m., in the Medford Masonic
temple chapter room, when
plans will be made for a dis
trict meeting on April 10. The
local chapter again will be
the host gioup. Initiatory de
grees will be conferred on
candidates. Chapters from the
district, Ashland, Grants Pass,
Kerby and Medford, will be
represented.
Among other activities of
the local chapter were recent
visits to the Veterans Dom
iciliary at White City. The
young men competed with
veterans in numerous games
