Dentists to Discuss Topic on Television
"Don't Be a Dental Space
Man!" will be the topic of
discussion by three dentists
at 1 o'clock this afternoon
over station KBES-TV on
"Adventures in Medicine."
Dr. F. Lee Meliish, Dr.
Wayne A. Frostad, and Dr.
Marvin A. Kocks will repre
sent the Southern Oregon Dis
trict Dental Society in the
special program on dental
health, which was pointed up
earlier this month by Nation
al Children's Dental Health
Week.
Slides and models will be
used to explain and illustrate
how many dental health prob
lems develop and how they
can be corrected. The dentisis
will offer suggestions for pre
venting some of these prob
lems and for maintaining
dental health.
Kenny Promoted
Lt. Col. John F. Rush, com
mander of the second battal
ion, 414th regiment (BCT) of
Medford, has announced the
promotion of Franklin L.
Kenny to first lieutenant.
Lieutenant Kenny is a mu
sic instructor in the Ashland
schools. He is a graduate of
the University of Montana
from where he will receive
a master's degree this spring.
