Mrs. Dow was born June 9,
1906, in Joylin, Mo.
Survivors include her hus
band, George Dow, and two
sons, George Dow Jr. and
Jack Dow, both at home.

Gardens Funeral home.

Memory Gardens Memorial

Mrs. Olson was born on
Christmas Day, 1886, the
daughter of H. P. and Rebecca
Nelson at Chester, Utah. She
was married Nov. 1, 1905, at
Marian, Idaho to Edward A.
Olson, who survives.
Mr. and Mrs. Olson moved
to Butte Falls in September,
1960. from Phoenix. Ariz.,
where they had resided since
1915. In September. 1962,
they moved to Klamath Falls
to be near their daughter.
Survivors, besides her hus
band, include a daughter, Mrs.
William (Doris) Forney, Klam
ath Falls; five grandchildren;
nine greatgran d c h i 1 d r e n;
three brothers, P. A. Nelson,
Burley, Ida.; H. C. Nelson,
Kelso, Wash.; and Wallace
Nelson, Sweet Home, Ore.;
three sisters, Mrs. Edna Day
ley, Burley, Ida.; Mr. Ida
Williams, Longview, Wash.;
and Mrs. Gerald (Lu-y) Sla
gle, Van Nuys, Calif.; and
several nieces and nephews.

Council To Meet-The regu
lar monthly business meeting
of the Jackson Council -of the
Blind will be held Sunday,
Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. in the south
west district office of the
Commission for the Blind.
Plans for the box social to
be held in cooperation with
the Chin-Up club will be com
pleted. The "record session"
will be held Feb. 14 instead
of Feb. 13, as previously an
nounced. Persons' needing
transportation are asked to

According to her complaint,
Mrs. Blew was northbound
on Riverside ave. Feb. 28,
1961, when her car collided
with a vehicle operated by
Coleman on East Main st. at
the intersection. At the time
of the accident, the complaint
states, Jones was working on
the traffic control signals at
the intersection so Riverside
ave. traffic had a flashing
yellow light and East Main
st. had a flashing green light.
She charges city officials
and Coleman with negli
gence. According to the com
plaint, she received neck,
chest and back injuries in
the accident.
In the second complaint,
Kathryn M. Wier, 4291 South
Pacific highway, seeks $20,
000 general damages, SI,
500.32 medical expenses, S3.
250 for lost wages, and $103
for vehicle repair from Mary
Adams, 1059 Morrow rd.
According to the complaint,
the Wier vehicle was stopped
on Table Rock rd. at the In
tersection of Highway 1)9
April 4, 1962, when it was

The spokesman said the air
liner and 'he fighters were
both flying at an altitude of
between 6,000 and 7,000 feet
when the near-miss occurred.
All were flying by visual con-1
trols, he said.
The airliner returned to
San Francisco and the flight
was canceled.
None of the passengers was
injured.

were planned in Milan, Rome,

Thousands of workers in
the slate telegraph company
and architectural offices are
either on strike or threaten
ing walkouts.
. The nation's hospital doc
tors are ready to start a
three-day strike Saturday.
The government, faced with
the prospect of an early gen
eral election, has been
plagued by strikes during the
past year.

National forest, have had a
training session on radiologi
cal monitoring and the use of
dosimeters.
John Rusk, district ranger
on the Scott River district,
conducted the session which
dealt with the basic funda
mentals of radioantivp fallnue
and training in the use of in
struments for its detection.
Dosimeters were assigned de
ignated nations and personnel.
The dosimeters will record
amounts of radiation received
and will act as a warning
should amounts reach a dan
gerous level.
