of ease but the Henley Horn'
ets were hard pressed to hang
on to their undefeated lead in
the Rogue league basketball
campaign.
Rogue River had a close
call but won its first game of
the 1963 league race.
Henley had a wide lead aft
er four quarters but lost It
in the fourth chucker and
needed overtime to nose Lake
view 61 to 99. Eagle Point
clipped St. Mary's 68 to 93.
Rogue River rallied in the
fourth panel to tip Sacred
Heart 62 to 99.
Richard Short, Charles
Pomeroy and Wilbur Boat-
wright spurred the Eagles as
they headed 17 to 13, 33 to
21 and 46 to 37 at the quar
