Miss Lamb was graduated

stores.
Mr. Campbell is a gradu
ate of Medford High school
and is employed at Ken's Tex
aco Service station. He is
also attending Southern Ore
gon college and is enrolled in
teacher education.

Miss Richardson is an ele
mentary education major at
Portland State college. She
is the second vice president
of the student body and was
1961 Homecoming queen.
Mr. Lagesen is a graduate
of Medford High school and
is to graduate in June from
Portland State college where
he is a. student in accounting.
The wedding is set for August.

Sonya Ann Lea, to Jimmie
Dale Whittenburg, son of Mrs.
O. L. Brusletten, Portland,
and Vernon L. Whittenburg,
Winchester, Ore.
Miss Lea is a graduate stu
dent at Oregon State univer
sity and her fiance is to grad
uate this year from the same
university. She is affiliated
with Alpha Chi Omega sorori
ty and Mr. Whittenburg's af
filiation is with the Phi Delta
Theta fraternity.
A late summer wedding is
planned.

engagement of Miss Sandra
Lee Lynch, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. R. Walton Lynch, to
John Dennis Patton, son of
Mr. and Mrs. John J. Patton,

Miss Lynch's parents made
the announcement.
Miss Lynch is a senior in
- music education at the Uni
versity of Oregon and her fi
ance is a senior in general
science there.

young man met his future
wife while he was stationed
with the Army in Germany.
She has been in the country
for the past several months.

daughter Betty Lou Carter to
John E. DeMcyer, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Hale, Highland,
Mich.
Miss Carter and her fiance
are both in the United States
Navy and are stationed at the
Naval Air station, Moffett
Field, Calif. Miss Carter was
graduated from Illinois Val
ley High school in June of
1961 and enlisted in the
WAVES. She received her
training at Bainbridgc, Md.,
and Memphis, Tenn., and is
now an aviation storekeeper.
She is assigned to duty in the
supply office at Moffet field.
Mr. DeMeyer attended Mac
kenzie High school in Detroit
and entered the Navy In 1955
as a career. He is a petty
officer, second class.
. The couple plans to be mar
ried in Cave Junction In July,

Miss Linda Sue Moore,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Wilkie Lee Moore, 943 Cherry
street, became the bride of
Robert Emerson Greer, son of
Mrs. Blllie Greer, 708 Herman
street, in a ceremony held Jan
uary 12 in Meeker Memorial
chapel of First Methodist
church.
Dr. George G. Roseberry
officiated at the 8 o'clock
evening ceremony attended by
75 relatives and friends. Two
baskets of while chrysanthe
mums decorated the chapel
for the double ring rites.
Noel Moore, Central Point,
gave his sister In marriage.
She wore a floor length gown
of brocaded satin in a floral
pattern fashioned with three
quarter length sleeves, wide
inset waistband and slim
skirt. The neckline formed a
vee in back. Her elbow length
veil was held by a pearl
crown and she carried a bou
quet of spider chrysanthe
mums encircling a white or
chid on two Bibles. One was
a gift from her mother and
the other from Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Melum.
Attends Bride
Mrs. William Newland at
tended the bride. She wore a
floor length gown of red satin
fashioned with three-quarter
length sleeves. Her flowers
were white carnations.
Sam Jennings served as
best man and seating the
guests were Robert Stuart,
brother-in-law of the bride
groom, and Charles Brooks.
Following the ceremony a
reception was held at the
church. Mrs. Willard Cureton,
sister of the bride, cut and
served the wedding cake and
Mrs. Charles DeCarlow,
another sister, and Mrs,
Charles Brooks, poured. Mrs.
Stuart was in charge of the
guest bokk and Mrs. Noel
Moore and Miss Karen Moore,
sister of the bride, were at
the gift table.
For her daughter's wedding
and reception Mrs. Moore
wore a tan suit with brown
and white accessories. Mrs.
Greer chose a beige and gold
knit suit with beige and tur
q u o i s c accessories. Their
flowers were white carna
tions. The ncwlywcds traveled to
the Oregon coast on their
wedding trip, the bride wear
ing a brown wool dress with
black accessories.
The bride is a graduate of
Medford High school and is
employed In the engineering

Hill. Mr. Greer, an cngineman
in the U.S. Navy, is stationed
at Pearl Harbor. Hawaii. He
is a graduate of Medford High
school and attended Shasta
Junior college. He will return
to Hawaii tomorrow, with
Mrs. Greer joining him in
about three months.

cific university, Forest Grove,
in the school of optometry.
