Ashland Townspeople of
the Rogue valley are invited
to attend the annual Christ
mas Vespers program at
Southern Oregon college Sun
day, December 9. at 4 p.m.
In the Brltt Student center.
The program will feature
the Southern Oregon college
choir directed by Oscar C
Bjorlie. and the Populaires,
directed by Richard Schall.
The event will be followed
by the traditional lighting of
the Wayne Wells Christinas
tree on the campus.
Numbers will include mu
sic by Bach, groups of Bohe
mian and Polish carols, such
traditional songs as "Cod
Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen",
and other English material
and will conclude with "We
Wish You a Merry Christ
mas" arranged by Director
Bjorlie.
