Suit Boots Are
Listed lor Milady
Take a tip from Santa and
give her a pair of high-stepping
boots this Christmas.
She'll love the new smooth
or grained leather suit boots
that arc just ankle high and
have comfortable, flattering
mid-heels and she'll be as
warmly shod as St. Nick him
self. New shearling-lined boots
with cuffs keep her 'ankles
warm and protected against
wintry blasts or deep snow.
When she turns down the
cuffs, the fluffy lining makes
a pretty contrast to the leath
er uppers.
For Christmas, boots shine
in fashion's footlights with
bright new leather colors, re

ed browns, graphite greys as
well as the gamut of tans and
gleaming black give a wide
range of colors to choose
from.
Today's smartly dressed
woman welcomes a boot
wardrobe. There are flat-heeled
boots for leisure or fun,
low-heeled boots for practi
cal cvery-day wear, and high
er heeled boots for dressy ac
cent to winter costumes. For
the woman "who dares"
there are knee-highs of gleam
ing patent leather and soft
suode leather.
To suit individual tastes,
there are side and front laced
boots, zippcred styles, and
various buckle fastenings.
All-leather boots are the hall
mark of fashion to the smart
ly dressed woman who pre
fers the firm footing pliable
leather soles give on icy, wet,
or snowy streets. Best of all,
durable all-leather boots are
easy lo care for, resist wa

Concord, N.H. - IUPII - A
daily newspaper, "Among the
Clouds," was published at the
summit of the 6,288-foot Mt.
Washington in New Hamp

The paper, founded by Hen

the summit and surrounding
communities in the While

who later became governor
of the stale, served on the
paper's reporting staff while

going to foster the spread of
Communism in Latin America
through sabotage and terrorism.
That was the day they
broke into a 12th floor office
in a building at No. 40 Aven
ida 9 Julho and raided the
headquarters of the "China
Brazilian Cultural Society."
Their suspicions that this was
something more than a cul
tural organization were more
than borne out.
Among other things, police
now suspect that Chinese
Communist "know-how" was
behind the bombing of Vene
zuelan oil refineries during
the Cuban crisis last month.
The bombs used by the Vene
zuelan terrorists were of the
same type as those described
in a "terrorism manuel"
seized in the Oct. 11 raid
here.
Alcidcs Cintra Bucno Filho
Chief Inspector of Sao Paulo's
Department of Public Order,

you how to make bombs or
Molotov cocktails but where
to find the ingredients.
The manual, belived to

"Sabotage Warfare: Work Of

"Ammonium Nitrate is a
salt employed in chemical

to metals and of violent com

Other booklets seized by

pages, in Spanish): Three
chapters from Mao Tsc-tung's
"The Strategic Problems of
The Revolutionary War In
China" which provide Portu

on how to seize power in a
country where the Commu

All the booklets are print-

are enough idiomatic errors
in the Portuguese texts to

Woman President
The president of the society
was Helena Silveira, well
known Brazilian woman wri
ter and journalist who has
traveled extensively in both
Communist China and Russia.
When police raided her head-. ciety, commanded by the Chi-

This has not dissuaded po

grounds that the society was
