A HECTIC HOUR - Things got hectic at a Hollywood, Calif
motion picture studio when this trained cougar broke loose
from his keeper, Ralph Heifer, holding chain. After an hour's
search during which police armed with tranquilizer guns
were called into action, the huge cat was located beneath

covered by a search plane
about one-quarter of a mile
from the home. She left the
home Tuesday night.
The Lane county sheriff's
office said she apparently died
of exposure.
