DEMONSTRATION-Adncr.ne Brion and Judy Macy, Apple
gate, entered the junior division of the Home Economics
demonstrations during competition recently. Here they
participate in a dairy foods demonstration.
CLEANS HOOF-Oale Perry, member of the Lake Creek
Rancheros 4-H club, cleans the hoof of her horse during re
cent club activities at the Double D Quarterhorse ranch at
Lake Creek. Holding the horse for her is Dale Johnston, a
member of the same cluh. Gale received the novice trophy
last week end in the 411 Horse show for receiving the most
points in three classes first in trail horse and western
horsemanship and second in halter .showmanship Date, who
also participated in the events, placed second in trail horse
net third in halter showmanship.
Here he judges one of the sheep showman
ship classes during the event.

the 4-H Horse Show held in
conjunction with the Jackson
county 4-H and FFA fair this
week end. The Horsemanship
contests were he'd Saturday.

day in connection with the

According to the reclama
tion bureau officials the aerial
map will be used in future
studies of the area regarding
irrigation planning The Sam
