Summer and vacation time sees nunareds of visitors coming to the Rogue valley. Guests of Mrs. Horace M. Doolen, 612 West Second street,
recently were her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Marian Naylor, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hebert and Harlan Naylor III, all of Houston, Texas.

Mrs. George Stacey and her daughter, Pamela, have returned to their home on Harbrooke road
from a stay in Europe. Mrs. Stacey traveled in England, Scotland and on the continent, and Miss
Stacey spent the past year in Paris as a student at the Sorbonne and the Institute of European stud
ies. She will be a senior at the University of Oregon in the fall,

Two valley visitors, Mrs. William G. Hughes (at left), Salem, and Mrs. Gordon Onslow-Ford,
(at right) Inverness, Calif., attended a reception at Rogue gallery Wednesday night which hon
ored Mr. Onslow-Ford, whose paintings are currently displayed at the gallery. Mrs. Hughes
and her five children are guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Bosworth, Applegate, and
attended the reception with her mother and sister-in-law, Mrs. Robert Bosworth (center).

Miss Sue Donna Doolen and her fiance, Paul Kouidis, both
of Eugene, joined the Doolen family group last week end
during the stay o' relatives from Texas. Miss Doolen is
a graduate assistant in French at the University of Oregon
and Mr. Kouidis, who is from Athens, Greece, will enroll
tt San Jose S'a'e college in the fall for advanced study
in mathematics.

The four sons and daughters of Robert E. Schott, 139 While Oak drive, are spend
ing the summer months with their father. They are (left to right) Martin, Carolyn,
Penny and David (at back). The children live in Maidstone, Kent, England, and attend
school there during the remainder of the year, and will leave in September for the
return trip.
Gordon Onslow-Ford (at left) spent the past week in Medford and the Rogue
valley and Wednesday night was honored at a reception at Rogue gallery where
his paintings are being exhibited. Mr. Onslow-Ford it shown talking with
Philip Hanson and Mrs. William Dawkins, Ashland. Mr. Hanson, an actor, left
yesterday for New Bedford, Mass., where he will give a performance of his
one-man show, "Moby Dick" to open the New Bodford Summer festival,
