Ore., until 8:00 P.M.. P.S.T.. on
the 7th day of August. 1962 at

opened and read aloud immediate
ly thereafter. Proposals shall be ad

Central Point, in an amount equal
to or exceeding five per cent (5r)
of the total bid, to be forfeited to
the City in the event of failure to

ceptance of the bid by the City of
Central Point. A lOO1 corporate
surety bond will be required to
guarantee faithful performance
under any contract awarded.
The City reserves the right to
postpone making tha award for a
reasonable time or to reject any
and all bids, to delete certain items
from the proposal, and to accept
the proposal considered best for the

Paving, 4500 tons, as authorized
by Ordinances adopted by the
Common Council and approved by

the City Manager at the City Hall,
Grants Pass. Oregon, ar.d to which

lars, which will be refunded in
case a bonafide bid is made and

signed by the person making such

All bids must be accompanied by
a bid bond or certified check in

the bidder will enter into a con
tract if award is made to him.

which all the work shall be com
pleted. The successful bidder
shall, before entering upon his
duties, furnish a good and suf
ficient bond in favor of the City
of Grants Pass, in not less than

the Contract Price, with surety to
be approved by the Common
Council.
The Common Council reserves the
right to reject any and all bids.
The Contract will be awarded to
the lowest resoonsible bidder, sub
ject to the limitations and con
