Cokes, Studs Clash
In Legion Baseball
Medford Cokes and Cheney
Studs collide tonight in their
sixth American Legion junior
baseball meeting of the sea-
son-and the last between the
two clubs this year.
The fracas will be at the
usual location -Memorial
field, White City-with a 7:30
p.m. starting time.
Both teams are members of
the Southern division of Area
4 but tonight's battle will
have no loop significance.
Central Point, however, will
aim for a break even victory
with the Cokes in season play,
while Medford will attempt to
add to a 3-2 edge over the
Studs in 1962 games.
Rivalry between the two
clubs has been keen, interest
ing and exciting in recent
years with neither actually a
favorite except in the senti
mental way. And, this eve
ning's encounter still rates the
tossup category.
If the year's final tangle
between the CP and Medford
crew is like the last one, the
fray will be a long affair. The
teams battled for 12 innings
last Monday before the Cokes
emerged 4 to 3.

of Studs' Coach Bill Askwith.
Medford tutor Cliff McLean
said that he may have Bill En
yart in the starting role and
have Bob King finish on the
hill.
Team lineups otherwise will

successor.
Seven changes in the 17
man cabinet and the creation
of the new post of vice pre
mier for Munoz Grandes were
published this morning In the
official state Gazette. The
state radio reported Tuesday
night the changes were being
made.
Munoz Grandes held, and
still holds, a military title
second only to Franco's in
Spain. Now he is also second
in the political line with au'
thorization to succeed the 69-year-old
Franco in event of
"vacancy, absence or illness."
It was the first time Franco
had established a definite line
of succession or even showed
a readiness to delegate some
functions of his rule.

Reorganization of
French Army OK'd
Pans-lUPIl-The French cabi
net today approved a reor
ganization of France's armed
forces, disbanded the general
staff, and replaced It with a
"secretariat-general for na
tional defense."
Details of the reorganiza
tion were not Immediately
known, but first Indications
were that It would be largely
administrative.

'Papa' Gabor Dies
In Budapest at Age SI
New York - (DPI) - Vlimos
"Papa" Gabor, father of the
famous Gabor sisters, died
last Saturday in Budapest at
the age of 81, his family an
nounced Tuesday.
Gabor and Mrs. Jolie Ga
bor were divorced several
years ago, and Gabor married
his secretary. He had remain
ed In Hungary when his wife
and his daughters - Zsa Zsn,
Eva, and Magda - emigrated
to the United States in the
1940s.
France To Speed Up
Repayment of Loans
Paris IUPD France has de
cided to speed up repayment
of long-term loans given her
by the United States and Can
ada, It was reported today.
Information Minister Alain
Peyrefitte told newsmen the
cabinet took the decision in
order to help safeguard the
stability of the U.S. and Ca

exact amount of funds to be
repaid, but said they were a
