10:20 a.m. at 100 Gresham st.
There was no extensive dam
age. A flue fire was reported
at 1170 Prospect St., Ashland,
the residence of O. Z. How
ard, at 8:52 p.m. Sunday.

OBITUARIES
CHARLEY MORGAN
Ashland - Charley Morgan,
79. of 219 Oak st Asliland,
died at his home Monday
niRht.
Mr. Morgan was born April
18. 188a. in Ashland. In July,
1909 he was married to Bessie
Jelinek in Klamath Falls. He
moved to Klamath Falls in
1918. and returned to Ash
land 17 years aao.
He is a retired employee ot
the bureau of reclamation. He
is survived by his wife and
several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be
held nt 10:30 a.m. Thursday
at Litwiller's Mt. View
chapel. Interment will be in
Mt. View cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs.
Beth Clark Prewitt, 59, form
er Medford resident who died
Saturday in Bakersfield,
Calif., will be held here today.
Mrs. Prewitt was born July
12, 1902, in Myrtle Point. She
I'tlended Medford schools,
graduating in June, 1920. She
retired from teaching
Bakersfield in 1961.
Survivors include a daugh
ter, Mrs. Otho George, Bak
ersfield; three grandsons, I
Reed, Irvin, and Ira George,
Bakersfield; and a sister, Mrs.
Josephine Jerome, Medford.

Roe Jones, 64, of Glendora,
