containing approximately 775
signatures of owners of prop
erty southwest of Medford
and recistered voters in the
j area affected, to the Jackson
county court. June 29
I These petitions request the
; county court, under state law
to have a survey made of the
area involved to determine
the best and most practical
plan to solve the sanitation
problem. This survey could
be extended to include other
areas in the county which are
in need of a sewer system.
The court will determine the
boundaries and the feasibility
of putting in a sewage dispos
al system to be paid for by
those property owners who
would benefit by such a sys
tem. Petition! Incomplete
There are still a number of
petitions that have not been
completed which will be pre
sented to the court in the near
future, it was reported.
The plan for a county sew
age disposal system will be
presented to the people in the
area involved for approval or
disapproval at a public hear
ing upon completion of the
survey.
