Thi Manor Is swarming
with family and friends of
members who stop for a visit
en route to the Fair. All of
them profess to be SO im
pressed with the Manor,
which pleases us no end.

vitation from the president,
Edward Klimko, Medford, for
all members interested in pho
tography (and they are legion)
to attend a meeting of the
association July 2 at the Red
cross Building at r..m p.m.
There will be contest and
Judges. No doubt some of our
members will participate.
On the parking lot for visi
tors I spied a car with Iowa
license plates and a huge il
luminated sign reading "Nix
on." That called for sleuthing
and I found a family of five,
three very fine boys, who
were guests of Dr. and Mrs.
R. H. Henderson, Henderson
ville, N.C. En route here from
Iowa, they stopped to visit
the boys' grandfather in Cali
fornia and entered right into
the campaign spirit - all for
Nixon.
Manor members. Mr. and
Mrs. William Buhl, from Pitts
burg, Pa., are another couple !
with Seattle-bound guests, j
their daughter and two grand
children from near Pittsburg.
This week the Manor said
Eoorihye to our administrator,
Waller HigBins, and family.
They are off to the Seattle
Fair and then to Portland
where they will see their son,
Mike Higgins, off for the
United States Naval Academy
at Annapolis. "Papa" Higgins
definitely has been unable to
find any hat large enough for
him since Mike won all those
honors, and the Manor family
is bursting with pride right
along with him.
Mr. and Mr.. Bob Evans :

jory Purlnton. Miss Purinton, j
who is director of the special
private pavillion in Presby
terian Medical center, New j
York City, has only one week
for hrr visit to Oregon, and
we will he trying to show her
the beauty spots in our val

down the Rogue from Grants
Pass have been cancelled for
the next two weeks. Our
members like to take guests
on this excursion and enjoy
repeating the trip themselves

Mrs. R. Nelson, while her hus
band was on a six-months
tour of duty aboard the Car
rier Lexington, is now mak
ing her home In Sanl.i Ana,
Calif., near the Marine base
where Private Smith is lo be
slalioncd. He is presently at
tending a short rourse In jet
mechanics in Dallas, Tex.
