JEOPARDIZE BREAKFAST
North Wilkesboro, N.C.-IDra
-Poultry tycoon Edward P.
Hettiger Jr., Thursday told
the state highway commis
sioners, in effect, they might
jeopardize their breakfast by
approving current plans for
a highway bypass. He said
noisy traffic on the highway,
which would cross his poul
try farm, would upset his hens
and substantially lower their
annual production of 7.4 mil
lion eggs. Commissioners
promised to consider an alter
nate route proposed by Hetti-ger.
