Receive Diplomas
Phoenix Commencement
exercises for 67 Phoenix High
school graduates were held
last week in the high school
gymnasium.
Dr. Dan Poling dean of men
at Oregon State college, gave
the commencement address.
Faculty award medals were
presented to students making
outstanding ocntributions to
the school. They included out
stnding senior girl, Nancy
Seiber; outstanding senior
boy, Terry Hanson; boy's ac
tivities, Rick Seymour; girl's
activities, Chyrl Bowma.r. and
citizenship award; Mike Cons
bruck, who also was presented
the student body president
key.
Scholarships presented in
cluded: Barbara Beer, honor leader
ship certificate from the Uni
versity of Oregon; Dorothy
Bilderback, full tuition to
Medford Beauty school; Chryl
Bowman, tuition scholarship
to Southern Oregon college
