loaded bus plunged 40 feet
down a gorge into the Mahor
river near Ahmedabad in

Mr. Stegcr was born March
13, 1897, in New York, and
was a veteran of both World
Wars, serving as a private in
the Army. He had been a
member of the VA Domicili
ary at White City for a short
time, and had been in Med
ford since February.

services and interment.
Mrs. Ross was born Sept. 1,
1921, in Los Angeles, and had
been in Medford for three

daughters, Diane Ross, and
Isabel Ross; her father. Wil-i
liam Fawcett Sr., all at
Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; and
a brother, Dr. William Faw

now that they discovered that
the trouble was caused by
beer. Engineers found that
television interference was
caused every time the bar
keeper drew a beer from one
in good business to erase the
loss. Katz said. For example,
a bad $100 check requires
$13,000 in sales to make up
the loss.
Since November of last
year, Katz said, 40 passers
have been arrested and six
convicted through the com
puter. Katz said the company will
set up operations in San
Diego next, then San Fran
cisco, before moving into Dal
las. He said the company is
making plans to explore the
New York area in the near
future.
