Spring Concert Set
At McLoughlin
The annual Spring Concert
of McLoughlin Junior High
school band, orchestra, and
chorus students will be held
Tuesday, May 22, at 7:30 p.m.
at the school.
Some 40 members of the
junior varsity and varsity
bands, varsity orchestra and
seventh grade chorus will
play and sing i variety of mu
sic. The event is open to the

Central Point Man
Injured in Accident
Edward Everett Denny, 47,
of 744 Manzanita St., Central
Point, was hospitalized Sat
urday at Rogue Valley hospi
tal after the car he was driv
ing went into a ditch near the
Rocky Point bridge and rolled
over.
State police said Denny was
driving on Sams Valley high
way near Gold Hill when he
lost control of the car. He was
taken to the hospital by the
Central Point Ambulance
Service.
He was discharged from the
hospital Sunday.
