Woman Attacked
At Prineville
Prineville - flJPD - A man
entered the home of a Prine
ville" school teacher Wednes
day and ripped the blouse of
his wife before her screams
caused him to flee, police re
ported. Mrs. Duane Altig said sha
was cleaning house when she
became aware of a draft and
turned to face the man. Sha
said he grabbed at her blouse
and ripped it and then left
by a door which police said
had been forced.
Her husband is a member
of the Junior Chamber of
Commerce, which has been
campaigning for fluoridation
of the city's water supply.
Police said they were in
vestigating to determine if the
incident might have any con
nection with one last Friday
night here in which the homa
of Ron Swift, editor of the
Central Oregonian, was par
tially destroyed by fire.
Mrs. Altig was able to give
only a sketchy description of
the man who she said was In
his 30s. She was not hurt.
