A woman stepped aboard a bus and immediately started
pestering the driver about a certain street. "Now are you
sure this bus stops at Tulip Terrace?" she demanded.
"Yes, ma'am," the driver replied.
But in a few moments, the woman repeated the question
and again and again. Finally, she asked: "But how will I
know when we get to Tulip Terrace?"

With a sigh of exasperation, the mother looked at the
