Buffe Falls School
Elections Scheduled
Butie Falls The annual
school election at Butte Falls
will be held May 7 from 2 to 8
p.m. in the Butte Falls High
school library, according to
Zelda Edmondson, clerk for
District 91.
School district patrons will
vote for one rural school
board member from Zone 3,
one rural school board mem
ber at large, one local direc
tor for a five-year term, and
vote on the county and local
budgets.
Candidates for local direc
tor are Mrs. Hannah Dalton,
incumbent, C. T. Stanton,
Donald Smith, and Andrew
Hamstra.
A total of $88,293.76 must
be raised by taxation for the
general fund expenditures for
the fiscal school year begin
ning July, 1962. Total esti
mated general fund expendi
tures are $129,511.76. Also,
$11,263.70 must be raised by
taxation for the bond interest
and redemption fund,
Mrs. Dalton, a housewife,
has served as school director
for 10 years. Stanton is a
Medford corporation office ac
countant. Smith is a logger
for Medco, and Hamstra is a
ranch supervisor.
Driver Injured in
Medford Accident
One driver was slightly in
Jurcd in one of three vehicle
accidents reported in Medford
Thursday, according1 to city
police. Two drivers were is
sued citations.

head after the car he was
operating collided with a ve
