units. Present plans call for
building the sanctuary and ad
ministration units as the ini
tial step in the construction
program.
The sanctuary will domi
nate the site with its roof of
wood tudor arches more than
40 feet above the ground. The
interiors will be finished in
natural wood and narrow win
dows of stained glass will be
in the nave. '
The sanctuary unit will be
approximately 3,200 square
feet in floor area and will seat
320 persons. Also included in
the unit will be the church of
fices, private waiting room,
choir space for 30, choir room,
sacristy alcove, rest rooms
and a mechanical room. The
church will be heated by a ra
diant type provided by copper
coils buried in the floor sys-

tions of the church. It will In
clude facilities for the church
office, storage, pastor's study,
church parlor, nursery, kin

tration unit and covered walk
to the sanctuary unit will add
an additional 4,800 square feet
of construction to the pro
gram. The final building program
is the culmination of two
years of planning and study
by the church building com
mittee. The pastor of the
church is the Rev. B. J. Hol
land. General contractor for
the project will be Harold
Salter, Rogue River. Archi
tects were Edson and Pappas,
Medford.
