front line troops defied U. S.
Gen. Carter B. Magruder to
day and ordered his troops to
keep hands off the military
coup that overthrew the gov
ernment. The order was issued by
Lt. Gen. Lee Han Lim, com
mander of the republic of Ko
rea's First Army which con
tains most of the ROK combat
units that guard the demili
tarized zone facing the Com
munists. The order fell short of an
nouncing outright support for
the new military regime in
Seoul but it was a severe set

Commerce Department.
The rerjort auotes a "Hun
garian space expert" named
Jozsef Sinka as saying the ve
hicle which launched the So
viet Venus probe Feb. 12 was
a five-stage rocket weighing
1.0 million pounds.
This would make It about
six times as heavy as the- At
las. It also would be 600,000
pounds heavier than the three
stage Saturn vehicle.
If Sinka is right about the
weight of the Venus rocket,
its booster stage must gener
ate . around two million
pounds of thrust, according to
U. S. space experts.
