Coy Watson Starts New
Business in Medford
Coy Watson Productions, a
new enterprise ' to provide
complete motion picture pro
duction service, has opened at
830 North Central ave.
' The firm will produce films
of all kinds for commercial
theatrical and television use
and in sales advertising for
industrial and private , con
cerns.- ' (
Watson' came to Medford
from Sacramento, where he
was news film director with
KCRA-TV for two years.
The North Central ave. lo
cation has more than 2,300
square feet of space, and con
tains a complete film process
ing facility set up to process
8mm and 16mm . black and
white film, silent or sound.
Watson announced that he
is also able to direct, photo
graph; process, ; edit and pro
duce motion pictures in Med
ford and deliver the film on
the. same day it. is shot.
'. In 1060 Mr. and Mrs. Wat
son and children visited Med
ford and Jacksonville, where
his parents were married 49
years ago. The family has pur
chased a home at 1001 South
Oakdale ave. , '
. Watson's father was a pio
neer in the motion picture in
dustry and started Coy on his
way when he appeared in a
Mack Sennett comedy when
he was nine months old. He
and his five brothers and
three sisters acted in movies
as children. One of them,
Bobs Watson, plays the role
of a cub reporter in the tele
vision series, "Hot Off the
Wire"; '

Oklahoma Highway - Depart
ment has erected the nation s
first headlight glare deflector
fence on a 3,700-foot stretch
of Interstate Highway 35 in
Oklahoma City. , .
The . 3-foot high , deflector
was erected above . a guard

strip. The fence also prevents
