A Rubber-Band Trick
By Marjorie Stewart
In preparation for this trick, place a rubber
band around the first two fingers of one hand,
bringing it all the way clown to the base of the
lingers. Then double your hand into a fist,
looping the inside end of the band around all
four fingers across the nails.
Now for the trick:
Show your fist, palm down, and with an
"Abracadabra!" straighten your fingers quick
ly. You will startle your friends by showing
them that the rubber band has magically
jumped to your last two fingers! It works!
