Troy Donahue found himself in "Summer Place," and
his career has been rocketing ever since. In '61 he will
reach stardom in Warner's "Parrish" and "Susan Slade,"
in addition to claiming his share of the television
audience through his popular "Surfsido 6" series.
When Debbie Reynolds sighed for a TV spectacular last year, she knew she'd
lose money. She figured (correctly), however, that it might beef up her movie
career. As a result of her show, she recently signed a three-year, multi
picture contract, including a top part in "Pleasure of His Company" for '61.
